DeleteIf you are planning to beekeep,don't go for making box at the starting.Buy a box with bees from local farmer.Average cost per box with bee is Rs.500.Once you are established,you may design your own boxes

DeleteYou have two options
1.You can opt for colony division.You can either take help of an expert farmer/do it yourself if you can.Lots of videos available in youtube about colony division.
2.Buy 5 more Bees with boxes and later divide them.Anyway you need to learn how to divide bee hives.If any training required,contact Krishibhavan/KVK.They can arrange for you.All the best
