Rainy season diseases in pigeons and steps to prevent them

  Now Rainy season is its middle stage in India.It is the time when all pigeon breeders worry about their birds.Every year lots of diseases pop-up during this time and kill lots of birds.The sales will be less this time and it is hard to run the business.But by taking some cares,we can minimise the impact of diseases.Lets discuss about some common diseases which spread during raining time and how we can avoid them.

Common Diseases and issues during Rain season

  • Paratyphoid(Salmonella):Unsanitary conditions and contaminated feeds are the main reasons behind this disease.
  • Coccidiosis: Unsanitary  surroundings are main reason.
  • Canker: Poor feed and loft conditions increase the chance of the disease
  • Worms
  • Mites
